Rueben Fasani
He was born in Argentina in 1960. He studied at the National School of Ceramics, getting a degree of Artistic Ceramics Technician.
In 1991 he travelled around Japan and Europe for six months, visiting the principal centers in Ceramics and Glass, where he contacted some workshops interchanging experiencies.
He works in stoneware (pottery and sculptures) and he has been doing “fusing glass” since 1996.
He combines two techniques in this work: lost wax (Pate du Verre) and fusing glass. He works with flat glass (Float glass), fusing different layers and shapes on a lost cast, obtaining an individual touch in each piece.
He is representing in Art Galeries in New York (NY), Palm Desert (California), Santa Fe (Nuevo Mexico), Chicago (Ilinois).
